Financial Planning Platform Modernization

Technical Lead · 2025 – Present
  • Rebuilt the financial planning and management tool serving 100+ financial analysts and controllers, replacing a manual, spreadsheet-driven SAP process — owned architecture, delivery, and operations end to end.
  • Designed a pipeline ingesting master data from 4 ERPs into a queryable REST API, establishing a single unified master-data repository for the organization.
  • Delivered a self-serve portal for hierarchy change requests with role-based approvals and corporate SSO, converting multi-step manual workflows into single-click approvals and moving a governed process off email into an auditable system.
  • Stood up production infrastructure from scratch on GKE with automated canary deployments, rollback, and secret management.

GCP Financial Data Mart Modernization

Technical Lead · 2024 – 2026
  • Migrated financial reporting off a legacy MS SQL Server / Informatica / SAS stack to a GCP stack tracking $5B+ in annual revenue across 8 billing platforms, cutting ~$5K/month in third-party licensing costs.
  • Executed a phased cut-over with parallel runs and reconciliation against the legacy system, with no disruption to business-critical month-end close.
  • Engineered ingestion and transformation pipelines using Cloud Batch, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery; automated ERP extraction into the corporate budgeting tool, eliminating 12+ hours of manual data transfers per month.
  • Provisioned all infrastructure as code with Pulumi; designed partitioned and clustered BigQuery tables to meet interactive-latency targets for finance users.
